Is Celibate app free?
The Celibate is completely free to download and join. Creating a profile, getting daily matches, and chatting with your connections is also free! You can also choose to unlock extra premium features by supporting our community.
How do I see people who liked me?
Free users see their likes one at a time as they browse new profiles. All users are notified via app alert notifications when a user likes your profile. Premium members can also see their likes by visiting the “Who Likes Me” tab.
When I end a chat, what happens?
When you end a chat in your inbox, the chat disappears for both people participating in the chat. You will no longer be able to see the person’s profile and neither will they be able to see your profile again.
How do I see past profiles on the dating history page?
Profiles you have tapped “Dislike” button will be shown again once you’ve seen all other profiles who match your preferences. They will loop around and be given a second chance.
Seeing profiles that you disliked or skipped is a feature available with a premium subscription. Being a premium subscriber, you can access profile history from the Dating History tab or the Liked tab by tapping the clock icon at the top left of the screen.
How do I edit my match preferences?
In your dating fiters you can specify an age range and geographical distance. A upgraded Premium subscription will unlock additional preference options including height, lifestyle habits, whether or not they have children and more.
How do I message someone?
To begin chatting with someone, you first need to connect with them by sending a Like. However, only users who have indicated a mutual interest in one another are allowed to chat.
How do I verify my profile on Celibate?
To verify your profile on Celibate visit the profile settings page and press “Verify my profile“. Celibate uses a secure third-party identity verification platform (Didit.me) to saftely verify your profile from within the Celibate app. You during verification you will be asked to upload an image of your drivers license, permit, or identification card and to scan your face to make sure it matches your face.
Note: Your first name on your Celibate profile must match the name on your ID to successfully complete your profile verification.
We do not recommend meeting anyone unverified on Celibate and suggest that you ask any potential matches to verify their profile on Celibate before considering meeting them in-person. Profile verification is not a background check and we recommend that you do your own background checks and research before meeting your matches in person.
How do I reset my account feed.
If you are unable to see any profiles in your homepage feed you can try resetting your profile feed from the Account Settings screen to see profiles you previously skipped and disliked.
How do I deactivate or delete my Celibate account?
Deactivating or deleting your account on Celibate is simple. On the bottom menu on the settings page press deactivate or delete link.
Note: Deleting your account on Celibate is permanent and can not be reversed. All your matches, messages and history will be deleted. If you only want to temporarily remove your profile from being visible to other members on Celibate, you can deactivate your account instead. To reactivate your account just login to your account on the app and it will be automatically reactivated.
How do I cancel my Premium Celibate Subscription?
Important: If you are currently subscribed to our Premium Membership deleting your account does not automatically cancel your premium subscription. To cancel your premium subscription please do the following:
To cancel an iOS subscription, open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, and select Subscriptions. Tap the subscription you want to end, then tap Cancel Subscription.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.Tap your name / Apple Account at the very top.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Find and tap the specific subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll down to find this button).
To cancel a Google Play subscription, open the Google Play Store app, tap your Profile icon, and select Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Tap the subscription you want to end, select Cancel subscription, and follow the on-screen instructions
